As a continuation of last month’s Monthly Tix on the first corporate social and the beginning of the opening of a professional page, the low-cost marketing column is about the popularity of new social accounts.
Starting a business social account isn’t easy. After the page is advertised and shared by current customers, friends, and family, the number of new members may seem stagnant. This is a normal situation and don’t panic.

When starting new business accounts, we receive a lot of requests from agencies to boost the number of subscribers, like 10,000 likes for $100. Some marketers use them sparingly and others, like me, don’t. It’s up to you and the subscribers are not always of quality. Personally, I never advise using these non-guaranteed popularity boost options. I am able to identify the social account that uses them, so I must not be the only one and this kind of action is not recommended in the launch of a business in terms of business reputation. However, this last paragraph is entirely a personal opinion. In fact, the reason for this marketing chronicle is to explain how doing marketing in a natural and human way without losing our money unadvisedly. Me included.
It can be expensive to use the paid resources of social platforms in order to increase the popularity of your posts and accounts. Be aware many more users hate this kind of misrepresentation. It is therefore necessary to use these services sparingly and I invite you to make an informed choice and think about your reputation, in the short, medium and long term.
In short, take care of your followers rather than focus on increasing the number of subscribers and the reach of your posts.
Networking and social groups
Start networking by searching for nearby business accounts and introduce yourself or locate products and services that complement yours and join the discussion. Take the opportunity to publish a series of articles featuring scenarios and meetings and testimonials from your customers and employees.
There are paid advertising services and promotions in specific media related to your field and you will be invited to join them and you will have ample time to use them in due course, if necessary, after consulting a professional in the management of social media or paid business promotional campaigns if your knowledge is limited in paid advertising.

Let’s focus here on publications and writing tips that are easy to do and free of charge in the period of start-up or other, because budgets are not always cooperative in launch years, right?
