Whether we organize activities or announce our events on social, emails and media, the anniversary of a company’s existence is celebrated. From happy hours to dinner with colleagues, this meeting is a pleasant opportunity to be with employees and is often eagerly awaited.

Visibility and Opportunities

For the public, partners and customers, this growing anniversary figure will be a guarantee of success and confidence. The number of years of experience of the company is directly related to this.

It’s particularly important to allocate a sufficient budget for the announcement and for the celebration of birthdays. They’re the perfect moment to express our sincere gratitude to the people who are responsible for our sustainability and success. These opportunities to build brand awareness are not only valuable, but also essential. You have to plan carefully in advance.

Grand Communication

The organization of a great corporate communications campaign will be essential. Here are other commemorative ideas for celebrating a company anniversary which are particularly pleasant to receive after an event and which can delight your customers and partners.

  • Guide or souvenir photo album.

  • Document or annual bulletin of the main activities of the company, printable or on the web.

  • Publication of an article in a specialized journal.

  • Video of the event or corporate clip of the company.

  • A social promotional campaign of thanks for the daily support from the company.

  • A live performance during the presidency event surrounded by all members of the company thanking customers.

  • Press documents and event follow-up documents.

Tip: A birthday event announcement should be beautiful and inviting. This isn’t displayed on a white sheet of paper on the bulletin board next to the schedule on the same header as a simple administrative note. Let’s take a few minutes to add some life and colour to the internal invitation cards.

Tools: You’re a CEO and not an expert writer and must invite your employees without necessarily asking employees to take care of making their invitation. Google is your friend.

Search for a template of an employee invitation letter. Customize a template of your event information and print it all. Then add a personal handwritten note for each member of your team. If possible, you give the invite in person.

Important Company Anniversaries

The First Year

The year of birth, of the distribution of promotional items with the brand image and the establishment of websites, email communication tools and the beginning of social media. A thank you is in order.




The 10th Year

The year of gratitude. Already in 2025, having a company lifespan in the double digits is an achievement. This can’t be done alone and requires a celebratory activity for employees, partners and customers. A gift for employees is in order.

The Following Decades

The second decade of the company’s existence, and for the next, in respect of many employees who may have successful careers in the company, communications and announcements are being done extensively and publicly. Press release, logo rebranding and slogan for notoriety and longevity must be seen and known by the public.


Twenty-Fifth Is a Key

Like the silver years in marriage, the number 25 represents stability and legacy also in business. Usually, between the 20th and the 25th years of existence in a company, the second generation of the direction team, or the family business members are new in place. It’s the perfect occasion to present the passing of the power to the next generation, and the leading directions to come.


Century?

Well, I don’t have enough experience to write about this number, but I think it’s a pretty BIG announcement to organize ;).


Conclusion

Whether we sing happy birthday or eat a nice piece of cake for the occasion with colleagues, the years of successes, problem solving, successes and things to work on are part of the daily life of a company and are celebrated.

It’s important to take the time to thank our professional entourage, who, like us, get up every morning for the company.
